GuideDot wins PitchAbility 2026.

GuideDot won PitchAbility 2026, the international accessibility pitch competition hosted by Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired in San Jose. More than thirty companies from over eight countries applied, and four were chosen to pitch live on the day: GuideDot, Morf, NewHaptics and Thinkerbell Labs. It was an honor to share the stage with them.

The prize is the chance to present GuideDot at Sight Tech Global this December, the conference on technology for blind and low vision people.

The pitch was only part of a wonderful day. In the afternoon we set up our maps in the exhibit hall, and people felt them for themselves: blind visitors, founders, investors and accessibility professionals. Several of those conversations have already turned into follow-up meetings.
